BDF Commander loses de-linking suit

FRANCISTOWN: The Commander of the Botswana Defence Force (BDF), Placid Segokgo fared badly after his decision to remove 16 soldiers from the delinking exercise was reviewed and set aside by the High Court for impropriety and irrationality.

The soldiers are based at the BDF Donga Military Garrison.

The Attorney General (AG) and the BDF Commander were cited as the first and second respondents respectively in the lawsuit.
