A 49-year-old Motswana man is currently fighting for his life at Princess Marina Hospital (PMH) after he was beaten to a pulp by a Zimbabwean man at Sukunya lands in the outskirts of Radisele village Saturday early morning.

Palapye Police Station's assistant commander, Assistant Superintendent Goletwa Kethamile said they received a report of the matter at around 3am, rushed to the crime scene, and took the victim to Palapye hospital. He was later referred to Mahalapye hospital and subsequently to PMH. "The victim was beaten all over the body and currently cannot speak. The suspect, a 34-year-old Zimbabwean man, also assaulted the victim with an axe holder and left him with a fractured leg.

We don't know what caused the misunderstanding between the two Sukunya herdsmen that led to such a serious fight," he said. However, Kethamile further revealed to have since arrested the suspect who is currently in custody for investigations and is charged with grievous bodily harm.
