Armed robbery suspect dies in police shootout

Police shot and killed a suspected armed robber, following an encounter with the Botswana Police Service (BPS) at Trans Cash and Carry in Tlokweng last night.

It is reported that at around 7pm when Trans Cash and Carry in Tlokweng was about to close, four armed robbers entered the shop and started demanding money.

Officer Commanding, senior superintendent Theriso Thatayotlhe confirmed the incident to MmegiOnline.
