Accused denies killing girlfriend

FRANCISTOWN: Murder accused Ronny Dominic has denied killing his girlfriend, Ndenchedzelo Baeng at Jamataka village, on December 14, 2010.

Instead Dominic through his lawyer Kgololesego Segabo said that his girlfriend died after falling on a piece of railway metal following a misunderstanding. Segabo said the accused pushed the deceased as he tried to free himself from her after she grabbed his private parts.

Detective Constable Masego Lephole told the court that when the police arrived at the scene, they found the deceased in a pool of blood and took her to Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital where she was certified dead.
