A Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) councillor for Rasesa perished in a car crash outside Gaborone North, Saturday evening in an accident involving four vehicles.

Another councillor of Dikgonnye ward, also in Kgatleng, escaped with injuries and is currently at Princess Marina Hospital.

The Rasesa ward councillor, Seasebeng Monyake (61) died on the spot after the accident that happened near the Belabela farms turn off.
