Young police officer, Marry Mokgweetsi was crowned Miss Broadhurst Police 2015/2016 over the weekend.

She beat competition from 11 finalists to take the title at Tsholofelo Hall on Saturday night.

Even though load shedding delayed the start of the pageant, the contest soon unfolded as planned. The event organised by the Broadhurst Police Station and Women Police Network, started with a performance from Sedibeng Traditional Group. They graced the stage with their music and dance, which combined the famous phathisi and tsutsube dance moves.
