Boom Shaka Return To Botswana In March

It’s probably over 20 years since they last performed in Botswana, but Boom Shaka are set to light up Molapo Stanbic Piazza when they perform during the Waar Was Jy Oldies Series in March.

Considered by many as the pioneers of Kwaito music genre, the South African group will perform alongside fellow South African Kabelo ‘Bouga Luv’ Mabalane of TKZee fame. Made up of Thembi Seete, Theo Nhlengethwa and Junior Sokhela, Boom Shaka will be without one of their bandmate Lebo Mathosa who died in 2006.

Meanwhile, Mapetla and Dj 88 will add the local flavour and show that local artists are also up there amongst the best performers.
