Northern softball league starts

FRANCISTOWN: The five-club northern softball league starts this weekend with matches in Selebi-Phikwe and Orapa. Tomorrow, Orapa giants, Currets, lock horns with rivals, Rebels, in Orapa before Currets play Francistown side, Scramblers. Scramblers play their second game against Rebels on Sunday.

In Selebi-Phikwe, Comets who have changed their name from Motloutse, face neighbours, Wippers.

Defending champions, Rail Giants from Mahalapye, will start their campaign against Comets tomorrow before playing Wippers on Sunday.
