Kwasakwasa man Chris Manto 7, on Saturday won his second title when he walked away with the Live Band category of the Heritage Month awards, contemporary music section, beating the likes of Metal Orizon, City Boys and Ras Jesus.

In the inaugural awards, Chris Manto 7, who is based in Shakawe, won P50 000, beating Vee in the process, as he was voted the Most Popular Artist, as well as Best live band. The following year, the big afro-haired star lost the title to Punah Gabasiane, who scooped the Live band category.

Kwasakwasa group, 100 Percent Africa, were also the surprise winners ahead of crowd-pullers Ekentolo, famous for the hit track, Chika!
