The fashion show, which attracted quite a large audience, was under the theme 'Fashion Meets Light' and was held at Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC). The contestants paraded different garments that were designed by local designers who were also competing for the best designer award, which in the end was clinched by Lesedi Matlapeng.

Other designers included Aobakwe Molosiwa of Glided Sands who seems to be popular with the youth and Botho Chalebgwa of Bothocy, and Lebang Kgosana who is famous for her leather made bags, hats and belts. Pinkie Jewellers supplied jewellery for the night. lady who seems to be everybody's favourite these days had many off their chairs with hits that seem to not only be topping the SA charts but also international charts, the song bird provoked many emotions when she again played her keyboard and sang out.

The decks were under the rightful hands of DJ Massie Hule and local jazz sensation Nnunu Ramogotsi was the curtain-raiser as she also lit up the stage with her performance. The organisers say that the training will include cultural training, physical fitness or healthy living, beauty and personal hygiene training, media and public relations as well as personal brand management.

Sharon Seno, Baeti Sebera, Rosemary Keofitlhetse, Tlotlo Patlakwe, Enrica Herbst, Tsaone Mogapi, Nono Popong, Betty Seatholo, Khumo Leburu, Bodiba Moesi, Chebu Jimmy, Segomotso Ramolefe, Refilwe Motaung, Tseo Seitiso, Sandra Mosweo and Baboloki Mathware are the ladies who will be competing for this year's crown.
