UK Foreign Secretary to visit Botswana

British Foreign Secretary William Hague will visit Botswana next week from February 8-9. While here Hague will meet with his Botswana counterpart, Foreign Affairs Minister Phandu Skelemani and also pay a courtesy call on President Ian Khama.

In an interview, foreign affairs official Tshenolo Modise confirmed to Mmegi that Hague will meet president Khama and Skelemani and the media.

She will release more details on the visit later. The  British High Commission in Gaborone confirmed that Secretary Hague will be in Gaborone but would not say what the purpose of the visit would be.
