Police investigate fatal accident

FRANCISTOWN: Seven people perished on Saturday in a head-on collision of two vehicles near Mmashoro; the same spot where students from Maun died when a bus they were travelling in collided with a truck and caught fire last year.

Officer commanding Serowe Police Station  Senior Superintendent, Boikhutso Dintwa, said they are investigating the accident, which involved a Toyota and a BMW sedan.

Dintwa said the accident, which happened in the evening, claimed the lives of four people in the BMW and three in the van.
