Botswana broken into 19 new sub-districts

Nineteen new sub-districts have been established under the new National Development Plan (NDP 10) which starts in the new financial year in April.

Nine of the sub-districts are in the vast Central District.

The Ministry of Local Government says the new sub districts plus three new administrative authorities will be implemented in phases throughout the six-year life of NDP 10.
