Lover died after fight over cellphone

FRANCISTOWN: A 26-year-old young man accused of murdering his 22-year-old girlfriend last year, has told the court that his lover died after a fight over a cellphone.

During his evidence-in-chief, Ishmael Bapasi told the court that things had been going well with his girlfriend of seven-years until last year when a third party came into their lives.

He said their relationship was built on trust such that they had access to each other's mobile phones.  But after the involvement of a third party, things changed for the worse.
