Table tennis introduces transfer policy

This is per the association’s player registration and transfer policy. BTTA has become the latest sporting body to introduce a transfer window after it was adopted by the clubs at a recent Special General Meeting. BTTA secretary-general, William Olyn said the discussion for the transfer policy came after an observation that before, players were able to move from one club to another without the authorisation from the association.
He said they want to nip the practice in the bud as the BTTA moves to transform the way it operates. He said the new policy came into effect last month and no transfer or registration of a player would be deemed complete unless the BTTA has given the move the green light.
