Gearbox threatens to dismantle Scara

Toe-to-toe: Gearbox and Scara face-off ahead of their title bout at the GICC on Friday night

Tshephang ‘Gearbox’ Babui has threatened to take apart Onkarabile ‘Scara’ Mothibedi when the two square off in a World Boxing Federation (WBF) title match at the GICC tonight.

Gearbox and Scara would battle for the WBF Super Bantam Africa belt (65.12kg.) Gearbox said he does not want to knock out Scara, but rather punish his opponent throughout the full 12 rounds.

“I am going to finish him off. He knows me very well. We trained together before. I cannot wait to step into the ring tomorrow night,” an upbeat Gearbox told Mmegi Sport yesterday.
