Covid-19 surge in schools worries teachers Trade Union

Bosetu noted the outbreak of COVID-19 at Masa Primary School, Thebe Primary School,Terrence Private School, Bonington Junior Secondary School and suspected cases among students and teachers at Botswana Open University (BOU).
Bosetu Secretary General, Tobokani Rari lamented: “This unfortunate development follows repeated advice that we sent out to the powers that be, about the current vulnerable status of schools in as far as adherence to the basic COVID – 19 preventative protocols is concerned”.
