While the BTC Premiership reached an anti-climax after a decision to call the campaign complete early, there were still outstanding breakthrough performances from a number of players. Mmegi Sport Correspondent, KABELO BORANABI takes a look at five players who enjoyed a stellar debut season

Thabiso Boti (Notwane)

It is not surprising that the striker is being linked with a big money move in the next transfer window. Orapa United is said to be interested while his proposed trial in Norway was halted by the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Affectionately known as ‘Musona’ the striker is the typical traditional number nine. He is not the quickest attacker but has power and strength. The 23-year-old right-footer is dominant in the air, while his positioning is one of the best in the league. This was his first season as a regular in the top flight after being with Notwane for four years. He finished with eight goals, just a goal behind the green boot winner.
