BOBS suspends acting MD, manager finance

FRANCISTOWN: National standards body of Botswana, Botswana Bureau of Standards has recently slapped two of its top executives with indefinite suspensions pending investigations.

BOBS is yet to appoint a substantial managing director (MD) since last December following the departure of its past immediate substantive MD, Masego Marobela.

Mmegi is privy to details that on July 14, 2020 the Standards Council suspended its acting MD, Theko Fako and manager finance, Ompelege Tiro until further notice.
