While some held their church service only to be dispersed by the police, some local churches resorted to live streaming of their Sunday services to protect their members from the coronavirus.       

This followed a step by government on Saturday to restrict gatherings to just 10 people in an effort to contain the spread of COVID-19.

Churches such as Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM) Tlokweng branch, Eloyi Mogoditshane branch and the Zion Christian Church (ZCC) phase 2 in Gaborone are among the churches, which the police dispersed on Sunday holding their usual services. However, some churches avoided any gatherings and resorted to reaching out to their members by live streaming their services.
