AFDA launches P500, 000 scholarship for SEDC, sign MOU

The agreement which was signed at the AFDA Gaborone campus is a way of giving back to the community according to Tsholofelo Ntshingane, the institution’s Chief Executive Officer. Several members of the famous KTM choir are from the district and according to Ntshingane this is proof of abundance of talent in the area. “We need to nature this talent,” he said.
AFDA will offer two bursaries every year for the courses they offer while the council will identify beneficiaries from within the district. The institution will further, with the help of the council, give priority to residents of the district when awarding tenders.
