The Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC) has defended a recent request to the National Sport Associations (NSAs) to submit two additional members for consideration for board positions.

NSAs had questioned the move, arguing it was not within the BNSC Act, as two names, Dr Khaulani Fichani and Tshepho Bathai, had already been submitted.

BNSC chief executive officer, Falcon Sedimo indicated in a letter to the affiliates that the names should be submitted before Friday, 13 September.
