Lodge manager killed by boyfriend

FRANCISTOWN: Police at Gerald Estates are investigating a case in which a 34-year-old lodge manager was shot dead by her 41-year-old boyfriend at the estates.

Gerald Estates Police acting station commander Joel Machete confirmed the incident. The 41-year-old boyfriend who died from self-inflicted injuries moments later was self-employed. 

The two are said to have been living together in Maun, but the woman was said to be staying in the second city for a short course at the Francistown College of Technical and Vocational Education.
