Bakwena to welcome other tribes at dithubaruba

Bakwena in Molepolole will once again welcome other tribes as they celebrate the 13th annual Duthubaruba Festival to be held at Molepolole Sports complex tomorrow.

The event which is a nation-building model will be held under the theme ngwao ya rona Letlotlo (our culture our treasure).

Dithubaruba spokesperson, Tlamelo Letlole told Arts & Culture in an interview that they welcome many other tribes who have settled in the Kweneng region. These include Bakgatla-ba-ga-Mmanaana, Bahurutshe and Baherero amongstothers. “We want these tribes to showcase their culture and encourage social cohesion. We want to remain united as Batswana,” he said.
