Local Is Lekker Finds Its Niche

Two entrepreneurs Thabiso Robert and Kabelo Babotseng say they started their own clothing brand 'Local is Lekker' after finding a niche in the manufacturing sector.

Local is Lekker is a local clothing brand that was founded in 2014, but started operations in 2018. Under their brand they have clothes for both men and women including t-shirts, football kits, shoes and many other items.

Co-founder of the business, Robert told Business Monitor that they aim to penetrate the clothing business by leveraging on a variety of products they have unlike their competitors who only focus on specific merchandise.
