Bidders no match for Khato Civils

A technical report that assessed all the 12 international and local companies that competed for the recently awarded 100km Masama wellfield-Mmamashia water works has revealed that the ultimate bid winner, Khato Civils/South Zambezi/Evolution Engineers Joint Venture won the tender fairly.

It also says that the company had not only outscored all its rivals in all evaluation stages but by staggering margins.

Khato had submitted the most cost saving financial proposal for the project, beating even all the six Chinese companies that are well known for their cost effective financial proposals for large projects like this one, it has also emerged.
