Gaolathe, Gamotho settle but more expected

Gaborone Bonnington South legislator, Ndaba Gaolathe has agreed to an out of settlement with his challenger, Gamotho Gamotho in a matter concerning breach of the Electoral Act.

Gamotho had filed a case before court raising an objection in terms of Section 18 of the Electoral Act with respect to the inclusion of Gaolathe in the voters roll.  

He argued that Gaolathe used a residential plot to register for the upcoming general election though he knew that it was not his area of residence as required by the Electoral  Act.
