Masisi, company to ward off Khama threat in Boteti West

PALAPYE: Against the backdrop of veiled threats issued by former President, Ian Khama to de-campaign Vice President (VP) Slumber Tsogwane, his successor President Mokgweetsi Masisi and his party executives might be put to test.

Khama has vowed to use his influence as GammaNgwato Kgosi to leave no stone unturned in uprooting Masisi’s favourite ,Tsogwane from Boteti-West constituency where he is seeking re-election come October general election.

The former Preisdent’s trouble with Tsogwane,  began recently when some party members in Palapye accused the Vice President of speaking ill about Khama.
