FRANCISTOWN: TAFIC coach Elias Chinyemba hailed the resilience of his side as they saw off Francistown City Greens in a competitive Debswana First Division North league derby on Saturday afternoon at the old Francistown Stadium.

TAFIC boosted their promotion bid with a hard fought 3-2 victory over their arch-rivals in a well-attended clash. This has left City Greens in a much more precarious position as they are now not safe from relegation as they have 19 points.

The hosts took the lead as early as the first minute through former City Greens forward Upoga Dekesha before Michael Murwira added the second in the 19th minute.
