Gunners Beat GU To Advance In FA Cup

Extension Gunners have advanced to the next round of the Orange FA Cup. This comes they beat Gaborone United (GU) with an 8-7 scoreline following penalty shootout in a game played at the National Stadium on Friday night. The two sides were locked at 2-2 at regulation time.

Just five minutes into the game, Patrick Kabamba had his shot parried back into play by the goalkeeper as GU looked for an early goal.

Two minutes later, Moyagoleele eventually took the lead as Thatayaone Kgamanyane tucked in from close range following a low cross from Obonwe Maome. The Reds came close in the 16th minute. Kgamanyane beat two of his markers inside the box and played to unmarked Kabamba, but the latter’s shot saved by the goalkeeper.
