Kamal Jacobs PIC. WEEKEND POST
A case in which the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) member Kamal Jacobs is challenging the legitimacy of Mokgweetsi Masisi as the president of the ruling party continues this morning before Justice Michael Mothobi.

It was postponed to 09:30 hours yesterday after Mothobi ordered that the Attorney General's application to be admitted as an 'amicus curiae' or “friend of the court” succeeded with costs against Jacobs.

were characterised by incoherent submissions by both the state council Otlaadisa Kwape and Jacobs' attorney Kagisano Tamucha.

Today the BDP lawyers Bogopa Manewe Tobedza and Company are expected to argue their preliminary points and judgment is expected first week of January.
