SEROWE: Jwaneng Galaxy had it easy on Saturday afternoon as they strolled to a 3-0 win over BR Highlanders at an empty Serowe Sport Complex. Galaxy coach, Miguel Da Costa said his side was bruised from their Mascom Top 8 Cup game and a long trip up north also worked them up.

“My players are fatigued, we have not had a decent rest, the cup games and the trip here was too much for the boys. The result was far much better than the exhibition,” he said.

Galaxy made their intention clear from the onset. They controlled possession and had the ball to themselves at least eight minutes of the opening  10 minutes. The hosts played a chasing game and closed tight at the back. The visitors were not that pressing in the final third, instead Highlanders challenged better in front of goals with the traces of the ball possession they salvaged in the half.
