Woman found beheaded in Tlokweng

The decapitated body of a young woman was found this morning in Maratanang ward, Tlokweng, in one of the most bizarre incidents recorded by local police.

Police spokesperson senior superintendent Near Bagali said the woman was suspected to be between the ages of 25 and 35 years. The body was found by passers-by, dumped in the bush.

“We received a call this morning informing us that a woman’s body had been found without the head. When we arrived at the scene, we confirmed the hideous discovery. The head of the deceased has not yet been recovered,” he said.
