Police accused in Setlampoloka killing acquitted & discharged

Six police officers charged in the killing of Italy Setlampoloka have been acquitted and discharged.

Earlier today, the outgoing Gaborone High Court Judge, Leatile Dambe delivered the ruling setting the accused Thuso Dintwe, Rantao Mmereki, Tebogo Khutsafalo, Kabo Ramohibidu, Michael Ramohitshane and Patrick Gobotswang free.

Dambe ruled that the police officers had no case to answer and that they were not responsible for the murder of Setlampoloka.
