Rollers, Sundowns in friendly talks

League champions, Township Rollers have confirmed their interest in playing South Africa's ABSA Premiership champions Mamelodi in a two-legged friendly game. Rollers president, Jagdish Shah confirmed to Mmegi Sport, that his club has sent a proposal to the Pretoria-based Sundowns but was cagey with details as he said talks are at an advanced with an official announcement imminent.

He however said the fixture would be used a preparations for the CAF Champions league, which both teams are involved in. 

"At this stage nothing is finalised. We have sent a proposal to Sundowns. The idea is to play them on June 30 (in South Africa) and they would come to us on July 7. But at the moment nothing is complete yet. We have to finalise details of the agreement and once we are done, we will announce," he said.
