Former Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Health and Wellness and also project manager at schools of medicines, Dr Kolaatamo Malefho will soon join the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP).
Malefho retired from civil service by the end of February and he will be pursuing his interest of contesting for BDP primaries in Serowe South constituency.
Minister of International Affairs and Cooperation, Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi is the current Member of Parliament for the area.
Already those who want to contest for the area have started to solicit support from BDP members to cast votes for them come August.
One of the reasons why Malefho left public service early is to have enough time to contest for the parliamentary primary election. Malefho will contest against other members who are popular in the area like Tebelelo Seretse, Fani Phuthego amongst others.
