Malepa out of ICU after leg amputation, suspect arrested

Former Ecco City Greens striker Malepa Bolelang who was involved in a freak accident over the weekend had his leg amputated just above the knee and is now recovering at Nyangabgwe Referal Hospital.

His uncle, Atshele Molapi who also coached Bolelang at ECCO, confirmed the former player is now out of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and he is doing well.  

“He had a succesful operation (yesterday) and after the operation he was released from the ICU into the general wards. The right leg was a huge problem but after the operation he is fine, I have spoken to him and he is responding very well,” Molapi said.
