After a fairly warm reception in Sudan, where Township Rollers were booked into a four-star hotel, the gloves slipped slightly off yesterday when the team bus was pelted with eggs.

Rollers are preparing for tonight's return leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round against Al Merreikh.

Popa, carrying a healthy 3-0 lead from the first leg, had been forewarned about the hostile atmosphere that awaits them in Khartoum.
