Otis Fraiser to shut year down at Woza 2018

Otis Fraiser
Legendary disc jockey, Otis Fraiser is set to count down to Woza 2018 scheduled for December 31 at Mokolodi just on the outskirts of the capital, Gaborone.

The veteran DJ who has worked in a number of local radio stations will be backed by young local DJs such as DJ Ash, Scratch and Mr Yummy. After leaving Botswana Fraiser has not staged many shows in the country, which has left many of his followers yearning for his versatile mixes.

“This time around we decided to do things different and have the event in a different environment, away from the club scene.  This will be more of a family picnic open to adults and children, but as night falls it will be a

music festival mainly for adults,” DJ Ash, who is coordinating the event, said.

With the event being a family picnic, during the day DJ Ash stated that there will be swimming pools dedicated to children.

“We are planning on having a special countdown into the New Year (2018) by having fireworks and some braai that will also be served to the revellers after making the count down”.

With security being a main concern to many revellers at events DJ Ash stated that for this event there would only be 250 tickets sold to limit audience numbers.
