Badminton implored to address doping

PALAPYE: The Botswana Badminton Association (BBA) has been urged to address the issue of doping in sports. Speaking at an elective BBA annual general meeting (AGM) held here on Saturday, Botswana National Olympic Committee (BNOC) president, Tuelo Serufho said doping is a very big issue around the world.

He said so far in Botswana there has been four cases of doping, two from athletics and the other two from rugby.

Serufho emphasised that BBA must ensure that there are relevant clauses that address the issue of doping, saying they must become part of the Registered Testing Pool.
