Local gospel singer, Matthews Matsetse has decided to revamp his music after being in the local gospel scene for close to 25 years.

The artist held a media briefing yesterday at Chez Nicolas (iTowers, CBD) where he said in order to put up with the market he decided to refrain from his old self and ways of doing music.

Matsetse is a recording gospel artist based in Gaborone, Botswana. He has been in the music scene for close to 25 years now and is the writer of hit songs such as This Love, Wena Jesu and Lion of Judah, which caused a shift in the gospel industry, since Lebo Sekgobela, the South African contemporary gospel artist, acquired its rights from the local icon (Matsetse).
