FRANCISTOWN: Francistown City Greens became the first Debswana First Division North (DFDN) side to lose points at the table after being found guilty of using a defaulter in their week two match against Mahalapye Hotspurs.

Mamoja Diskie beat Amahot 3-0 in the encounter played at the Francistown Stadium last month. In the match, Mamoja had used Ithobogeng Monnawapula who allegedly was improperly registered.

According to sources close to the developments, Mamoja had not finalised the processes of acquiring Monnawapula’s services from Gabane United after they failed to pay off a clearance fee.
