Professional boxing fans will tonight get a treat when international boxers exchange blows at the Big Five Lodge in Mogoditshane. The Fight Night Professional Boxing Bonanza will feature the main bout between local upcoming professional boxer, Onkarabile Mothibedi and experienced South African, Thamasanqa Cele.

The event’s Local Organising Committee chairperson, Isaac Pheko said there will be five professional bouts with the main feature between, Mothibedi and Cele. He said the two are good boxers therefore they expect a tough fight that will thrill the crowd.

“The two boxers will not be fighting for any title rather they will be competing for prizes that I cannot disclose as they are professionals. We chose Mothibedi because he has a good following locally and abroad, therefore we believe that he will use this chance to prove a lot to his fans,” Pheko said. He said Mothibedi will face Cele for the first time. He said Mothibedi is a four time Botswana Boxing Association national champion and this would be his second professional fight while his opponent has five bouts.
