Local artistes and DJs light BDP rally

Skazzo performing at BDP Star Rally PIC: MORERI SEJAKGOMO
Local artistes lit the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) Star Rally on Friday. As usual, Vee Mampeezy also known as Lenyora la Seterata got a positive response from the audience who were waiting eagerly to meet him and see his energetic crew perform.

The latter performed songs from his former albums like Letlhale la tsamaya, I do I do and others as he persuaded the audience to vote for the ruling party.

The local gospel artiste Tebbie treated the audience with the song that she wrote for the party. However even though Street Gang treated the audience with beautiful songs from the previous album, they seem to have not thrilled the audience that kept on asking the two artistes to dance as the previous members used to bless them with beautiful dance moves.

The duo sang songs like Sukunyetsa and others. Even though the evidently entertainment-thirsty audience danced to the pair’s songs, they seemed not thrilled by their performance.

Captain Dira

kept the audience on their feet with his beautiful music.

Vasco also took the audience back in the days with his splendid songs.

DJ Max, DJ Bobbo, DJ Fellie T, DJ Mchiefo and Djokovic 4DO kept the audience off their feet with beautiful songs from the latest hits from both local house, kwaito and RnB international artistes.

Some of the artistes who graced the audience with their splendid performances were Figos and Matona.

However, the rally seemed to have attracted a number of under-age audience who could not resist free entertainment and meeting their favourite artistes like Vee Mampeezy who had a lot of fans who could seize asking the MCs to put him on stage.
