Double trouble for Moswaane�s supporters

FRANCISTOWN: The weekend assault of Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) activist, Otto Masogo, at the hands of Francistown West MP Ignatius Moswaane’s alleged supporters, has now moved to party level with the BDP reportedly requesting medical records before it takes action.

Masogo was assaulted by supporters reportedly belonging to Moswaane’s camp after questioning the legitimacy of one of the delegates at the Francistown region congress last weekend. Masogo initially reported his case to the police and vowed not to forgive his attackers saying their actions were fuelled by political gameship.

Yesterday the outspoken Masogo confirmed that he has also submitted a complaint letter against Moswaane’s supporters to the party.
