Three men busted with dead pangolin

FRANCISTOWN: Three men appeared in Court yesterday to face one charge of being allegedly found in possession of a dead pangolin, a protected Government trophy.

The State alleges that traditional doctor Pene Seleme, musician Molatedi Kgosietsile and a self-employed man, Reuben Kekana, were unlawfully found in possession of the pangolin cadaver on December 12, 2016 in Francistown.

State prosecutor Atina Mandigo applied for the charge to be read to the accused and their pleas taken. All the accused pleaded not guilty to the charge.
