More trouble for lawyer accused in Montshiwa case

Modise David, the lawyer accused of killing former Fairground Holdings CEO, Michael Montshiwa, has had his law firm placed under curatorship in accordance with a High Court order.

In a notice yesterday, the Law Society of Botswana (LSB) said the curatorship meant that David was not entitled to practice law or in any way hold himself as a legal practitioner on account of “continuing to practice law without a Practicing Certificate”.

David was among a group of nine attorneys placed under curatorshiop for non-compliance. Attorney, Martin Dingake has been appointed curator and has engaged a certified auditor, Leon Mtyambizi.
