Nico hit all-time low after five losses

FRANCISTOWN: Nico United have slumped to their worst ever run since promotion to the top flight more than a decade ago. The team has suffered five consecutive losses in the BTC Premiership, which has pushed the side to the relegation zone.

On Friday they lost 5-0 to Mochudi Centre Chiefs, meaning they have conceded 15 goals and scored just twice in five matches.

Majombolo’s troubles can be traced to the recent closure of the BCL Mine, which robbed them of a sponsor and subscription from the mine’s members.
