Lest we forget: BotswanaPost has encouraged customers to pay rentals

BotswanaPost has encouraged its customers to renew their postal box rentals which include the standards mail boxes as well as the home mail delivery boxes before the anticipated end of year congestion at post offices across the country.

According to the post’s acting general manager -marketing and communications, Joyce Manase-Ntau they are encouraging their customers to beat last minute queues and avoid penalties to the extent of even losing their boxes.

“As we enter into the festive season, BotswanaPost would like to encourage its valuable customers to renew their postal box rentals before the anticipated end-of-year congestion at post offices,” she said. Manase-Ntau said the festive season is a period of great excitement filled with a celebratory mood, and can sometimes lead to risks of customers forgetting to renew their postal boxes and encouraged customers to “beat” last minute queues. “While most of our customers are only aware of the standard mail boxes seen around the country, and of late the home mail delivery boxes as well, few are aware of our Premier Boxes which are state-of-the-art, accessed via a personal code and housed in a vault at Masa Centre. These are bought and renewed in a similar manner like the other,” she said.
