The inaugural Gaborone International Airshow that was held on Saturday at the Sir Seretse Khama International Airport showcased some amazing stunts to celebrate Botswana’s 50th Independence anniversary.

The event began with skydivers flying an oversize Botswana flag while the national anthem was being sung to mark the official opening of the stunt filled show.

The show got to an explosive start as the Botswana Defence Force (BDF) fighter jets demonstrated an air ambush by dropping down large bombs that startled the crowd with deafening noise, large explosive balls of fire and black smoke.
